FILM CLUB

WHAT GOES ON

The Film club is run by the Village hall committee to promote the use of the hall and to bring villagers and those from the surrounding villages together for a fun night to meet friends and see a movie.

Each month starting at 7:30pm we show a film in the Village Hall. The films vary and we often try and show some of the latest films if they are of interest to the members.  But we also have shown a variety of older films as well. One year we had a short season of British comedies.

To comply with the terms of our licence you need to be a member, but all this entails is giving your details to one of the village hall committee. There is no fee for being a member. Each month you will get an e-mail telling you about that month’s film and when it is being shown. Then if it is one you would like to come along to then just pop in.  Bring along your own drinks and nibbles. There is a raffle which is £3.50 each to help cover costs and raise money for the maintenance of the Village Hall. The prizes are amazing….not.
